Background

Raised in downtown Toronto - in a working class - highly diverse community has given me some experience that informs my position and my art practice. 

Through art I hope to investigate issues of human and social concern and to build collaborations.  I also hope to express the joys found in music and nature.

I have been a computer programmer/analyst, literacy worker, adult educator and high shool teacher.  Those roles have engaged me with students and colleagues from all walks of life.

I have developed my art practice through experimentation, study and collaboration with professional artists.  This approach has allowed me to become an artist recognized by the Canada Council and CALQ (Conseil des arts et des lettres du Québec).
